Thank You Message from Kyle Wright, LMBT
We were honored to share our treatment strategies with a great group of licensed massage and bodywork therapists this weekend in Charlotte. “Freeing up” The Scapula & Unlocking Frozen Shoulder.
Note:
It’s always nice to see when therapists quiet their minds and quiet their hands the recipient of the bodywork goes to a deep level of parasympathetic state, which allows for a deeper level of entry into the deeper levels of the body.. When the recipient experiences no fear, resistance, guarding and armoring and no pain during their session, their bodies are more able to achieve relaxation and longer lasting results.
Teaching our C/P’s
how to receive consciously applied bodywork and them (the recipient) being and maintaining control of the therapist’s pressure is the key to functional/ structural change that can be life changing.
Aggressive styles of therapy, more often than not, causes resistance to change and pain The recipient is the Only one who has the ability to truly achieve relaxation.
Muscles are the only thing that have the physiological ability to shorten.
Sinking into the nervous system via the muscles; connects the brain/ CNS to the muscle, which in turn decreases muscle tension, decompresses joints and decreases myofascial restrictions.
No Pain = More Gain
Our team at the North Carolina School of Advanced Bodywork is to dedicated to our students so they become part of an Elite Group of Bodywork professionals.
Thank you
