Experience Zen as a Lifestyle

Mindful Self-Care:
A Path towards Mindful Self-Care
with Jill White-Huffman, LMBT, LCMHC, MFT

With over 30 years of experience as a Greensboro licensed counselor, mental health counselor, marriage family therapist, and licensed massage & bodywork therapist, Jill White-Huffman has an aptitude for anticipating the needs of others. No matter how trivial, our tendency to veer from the matter at hand can isolate us and induce unnecessary stress and/or burnout.

A healthy individual routine is critical to avoiding the effects of variables polluting our internal atmospheres (i.e., triggers, vulnerability, and barriers) and disrupting mind-body awareness and present-moment experiences.

Jill developed Mindful Self-Care to help healthcare professionals, caregivers, and/or those who may gain insight into developing ways to care for themselves more effectively. This may include feeling calmer, grounded, and balanced, increased energy levels, and improved stamina and flexibility while holding stretches longer than normal. Jill believes we may be more productive when caring for others when consistently practicing mindfulness and self-care.

Jill White-Huffman combines her Mindful Self-Care curriculum with the teachings of Zen to bring you: Experience Zen. She also teaches practical, experiential, and useful easy-to-understand techniques for maintaining regular meditative breathing exercises and a therapeutic stretch workout that can be applied daily to manage stressful moments.

Any application of techniques taught/practiced, ideas, and suggestions is at the participant’s sole discretion and risk. The guidance and instruction do not replace that of a therapist or medical professional.
