WELCOME TO ADVANCED BODYWORK SEMINARS
These post-graduate seminars are designed to provide advanced training in clinical massage, structural bodywork and postural balancing. The courses will thoroughly explore the muscular, skeletal and neurological systems of the body. Participants will learn how muscular imbalances lead to myofascial pain syndromes and skeletal joint dysfunction and how to properly reverse and/or prevent the effects of these imbalances.
Each seminar is also designed to address specific areas of the body which allow the therapist to enroll in courses that appeal to them; thereby ensuring that the ability to take away valuable skills is not dependent on subsequent courses. When you are ready to explore another area of the body simply review the schedule and come be a part of the class.
What to expect
A typical seminar is scheduled so that Friday remains open to the public. During this three hour lecture the Anatomy and Physiology is discussed and a demonstration is presented to prepare those enrolled for the next two days.
Saturday and Sunday are reserved for fully interactive trades that are supervised for added demonstration, critique and assistance. Each student receives as well as provides the techniques being taught under the attentive guidance of the instructor.
